SURFACE EVOLUTION LIGHTING
We build Private Nightscapes.
Scroll to turn on the lights.
Drag the line across the property. Then switch the design — a quiet, minimal scheme or the fully lit showcase. Both are drawn for this home, not pulled from a catalog.
Concept render — day to night.
Architecture, not floodlights.
Narrow beams graze stone and brick from the base, so the texture carries the light — columns, gables and corners read as form, never as a wall of glare.
Guidance, not glare.
Shielded, low pools of light staggered down the walk. You see the stone underfoot — never the lamp itself.
Downlight through the canopy, like moonlight.
Fixtures set high in mature trees throw soft, dappled shadow across lawn and drive. The source disappears; the evening stays.
Cast brass, not powder-coated aluminum. It weathers to a patina and disappears into the planting.
Direct-burial cable trenched below the bed line — nothing on the mulch, nothing for an edger to find.
Loads calculated run by run, with headroom, so the last fixture on the line is as bright as the first.
Trees grow. Beds change. We come back at night and re-aim the design for as long as you own the home.
Every nightscape is designed to the property, so final numbers follow the site walk.
The front of the home, composed. The arrival, handled properly.
The full street-side composition — architecture, trees and approach as one design.
The whole property after dark — every elevation, every outdoor room, scene-controlled.
HIDDEN CONDITIONS — Design pricing assumes normal soil, accessible planting beds and an available exterior GFCI circuit. Conditions that cannot be seen before work begins — rock, buried debris, undocumented utilities or irrigation, hardscape boring, or electrical service upgrades — are documented, priced and approved in writing before any additional work proceeds.
One photo from the street is all it takes. Our designers return a night render of your own property, lit the way we would light it.
